Summer...
Laura Shaw is pleased to announce
her cleaning schedule.
Bath Housing offers EFT to our tenants for rent payments. If you are
interested in signing up for EFT,
please call our office at (207) 4433116. EFT automatically deducts your
rent payment from your checking or
savings account. EFT can ONLY be
used for rent payments and air conditioner fees. All other fees must be
paid to the office by check or
money order. These fees include:


Late fees

Security deposits

Sundry list charges

Back rent payments

Any other non-rent related fee.
Thank you, Clayton Williams
Seacliff Gardens
Please pull your blinds to reduce the
amount of heat the sun brings into
your apartment. This will reduce the
amount of energy output on your air
conditioner and keep your apartment
cooler.

Please make sure your windows are
closed if your air conditioner is on.

Double check your thermostats
and make sure they are turned off.


Limit the use of your exhaust fans
to cooking and bathing in your
apartments. The fans pull cool air
out of your apartment if you have
an air conditioner going.
Call the office to report all work
orders.
Monday: The Moorings
Tuesday: The Bath Housing office,
The Anchorage and trash checks.
SCUTTLEBUTT
Newsletter for Bath Housing residents
Wednesday: Dikes Landing and

Thank you Morse High
School Freshman class for
another successful clean-up
day at Bath Housing. We
look forward to our continued partnership.
Thursday: Seacliff and laundry
rooms.
Friday: Trash removal in all buildings and bathroom checks.
Please note: Laura is here at Bath
Housing for general housekeeping.
Please assist her by cleaning up after
your events. Remember, if something
needs cleaning outside of the schedule, call the office to place a work
order.

Let It Grow
The Anchorage garden improvements are underway. On May 15, Jobs for Maine Graduates students worked all day weeding, laying down ground
cover and shoveling stone to create a new and improved garden space. This project has been made
possible by The Bowdoin College Common Good
grant and the Sow it Forward grant. Thank you to
all the organizations who helped make this project
happen.
Welcome Calvin Henry
ED Corner
In the coming weeks, we will begin conducting a series of surveys with residents. The goal of these surveys is to help us collect information about how we
can serve you better.
There are four surveys, including: a resident satisfaction survey, a general community survey, a resident
services survey, and a health survey. Calvin Henry,
our summer fellow from Bowdoin College, will be at
properties in June to assist you in filling out the surveys. All information collected is completely
anonymous; we will only be looking at the combined data. Thank you in advance for participating. To show our thanks, participants will earn two
raffle tickets for each of the four surveys they fill out
and submit. We will be raffling off five $50 Reny’s
gift cards in early July.
On a separate note, special thanks to Morse High
School freshman, Morse JMG students, Bath Housing staff, and all of the residents that worked so hard
to make our annual spring clean-up a success. We
accomplished a phenomenal amount of work, including taking over 1,000 pounds of large items to the
dump, prepping the Anchorage garden beds, clearing
out the hill in front of the Moorings, and cleaning up
the Dike’s Landing patio area. We also had a great
time and the students took a lot of pride in helping to
make Bath look better.

Please help us welcome Calvin Henry
to Bath Housing. Calvin will be
working with us
for ten weeks this
summer as a Denning Fellow from
Bowdoin College.
The Fellowship is
designed for students with a foundation in community engagement
that are seeking in-depth experience working on an
issue of interest. Calvin just finished his third year at
Bowdoin where he is studying psychology and sociology. He is a member of the men’s varsity cross country and track and field teams at Bowdoin.
Over the past six years, Calvin has been involved in a
number of community service activities including
work at the Trinity Soup Kitchen in Atlanta, Georgia,
Habitat for Humanity in Charlottesville, Virginia,
and Tree Street Youth in Lewiston, Maine. In January 2015 he was part of the Bowdoin Alternative
Winter Break in Maine. He is a regular volunteer at
the Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program in Brunswick.
