Tyrannosaurus Rex
The famous Tyrannosaurus Rex lived about 65 million years ago in the late
Cretaceous Period of the Mesozoic Era. It was a large meat eating dinosaur, about 40
feet long and about 20 feet tall. It was a forest dweller. It’s massive, powerful jaws were
capable of crushing the bones of its prey. It’s long tail helped its balance, and it could
probably run about 25 mph through the forests where it lived.
