prior to departure (August 15, 2016).

DAY 1 Depart USA to Tel Aviv via France
(Schedule subject to change)
DAY 2 Arrival in the Holy land in the afternoon/evening where we are met by a representative to assist us
through customs and transfer us to our hotel on the Mediterranean coast for dinner and overnight at Sharon Herzliya.
DAY 3 Caesarea / Carmel / Megiddo (Armageddon) / Tiberias Proceed to Caesarea to visit the Crusader Fortress built upon the ancient city of Caesarea Maritima, named after Augustus Caesar, who imposed the tax that
brought Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem. Here is a beautiful example of the Roman Amphitheatre built in the days of
Christ. We’ll continue to Mount Carmel where Elijah issued his challenge to the False Prophets. Then on to Megiddo, site of Armageddon. From there we go to Tiberias and the beautiful Sea of Galilee. Dinner and overnight at our
hotel Caesar Tiberias in Tiberias.
DAY 4 Boat Ride on Sea of Galilee / Mt of Beatitudes / Capernaum / Baptism in the Jordan River We’ll visit
the Jesus Boat, which is in a museum situated on Kibbutz Nof Ginossar. The Sea of Galilee is where much of Jesus’
ministry took place. Then we board a boat for a cruise on the Sea of Galilee. We visit where Jesus gave the Beatitudes and taught in the synagogue on many occasions and performed many miracles. We then proceed to visit
where 5,000 were fed by Jesus who performed the miracle of the multiplication of fish and loaves. Visit Capernaum, and end a magnificent day with a visit to Yardenit, the traditional baptismal site on the Jordan River. If you desire to be baptized in the Jordan, please talk to your pastor. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.
DAY 5 Damascus Road / Golan Heights / Mt. Hermon / Caesarea Phillipi / Tel Dan We head north on the road
through the Golan Heights where we will hear the explanations of the strategic and political significance of this area.
On the Golan Heights we visit Caesarea Phillipi, where Jesus asks, “Who do men say that I am?” A question everyone must answer. We then visit the Tel Dan the capital city of Israel where Jeroboam erected a golden calf.

DAY 6 Beit Shean / Jordan Valley / Gideon’s Spring / Sachne, / end the day at Jerusalem We proceed through
the city of Beit Shean - one of the earliest and most important cities in Israel from the time of the Canaanites. It was
here the Philistines impaled King Saul's body to the city wall - we view its magnificent excavations. We will see the
spring where God had Gideon chose only 300 men to fight against the Midianites. Then on to Jerusalem for our hotel and dinner at Crowne Plaza, Jerusalem.
DAY 7 Qumran / Ein Gedi / Massada/ Dead Sea Our next adventure is down to the Jordan Valley and the Dead
Sea, lowest spot on earth and visit Qumran, center of the Essenes. Visit the ancient caves of Qumran where the
Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Continue south to Ein Gedi, David's hideout from Saul, and on to the mighty fortress
Massada, last stronghold and stand of the zealots against Rome, on the edge of the barren Negev Desert. Those who
wish to do so may swim (float) in the salty waters of the Dead Sea on the way back to Jerusalem for dinner and
overnight.
DAY 8 Mt. of Olives / Palm Sunday Road / Garden of Gethsemane / House of Caiaphas / Upper Room / Yad
V'shem Holocaust Museum This morning we start the day at Mt. of Olives for an introduction to Jerusalem. Ascend the mountains of Jerusalem from Mt. Scopus to Mt. of Olives for an outstanding breathtaking view of the city
across the Kidron Valley to the Eastern Gate; see Chapel of Ascension, walk down Palm Sunday Road and visit the
Garden of Gethsemane. Travel to the house of Caiaphas and visit the Upper Room and Tomb of King David. Drive
to Yad V'shem, the memorial to the Holocaust where 6 million Jews were murdered by the Nazis. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
DAY 9 Old City of Jerusalem / Temple Mount / Pool of Bethesda / Praetorium / Fortress of Antonia / Via
Dolorosa
Enter the Old City through the Dung Gate; Go up on the Temple Mount and see the Dome of the Rock, East Gate
and the Dome of the Sprits. Visit the Pool of Bethesda where Jesus cured an invalid man; continue to the Praetorium, site of the public trial of Christ, and his condemnation, and view its ancient remains in the Fortress of Antonia;
Continue through the picturesque market streets walking along the Via Dolorosa. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
DAY 10 Southern Steps of the Ancient Temple / Western Wall / Rabbi’s Tunnel/ Calvary / Garden Tomb
Visit to the Southern Steps, the archaeological reconstruction of the Temple Steps where Jesus walked so often, proceed to the Western Wall, a sacred site for the Jewish People. Visit the famous Rabbi's Tunnel, running along the
base of the Western Wall. End the day with prayer and communion at the Garden Tomb. Dinner and overnight in
Jerusalem.
DAY 11 A free day to enjoy Jerusalem and extra activities at your expense. We end with a farewell dinner and then
head to the airport early the next morning. Arrive home on Day 12 to everyone’s USA city by the afternoon.
