focuses which language skills are most needed by the students
in their chosen profession, and the syllabus is designed
accordingly. This program emphasizes the development of
reading skills in students who are preparing for a career in
the global finance or it might promotes the development of
spoken skills for those who are studying English in order to
grow in the booming hospitality industry.
Bilingual professionals are in demand and the Zoni English
for Special Purposes program was developed to allow
students to apply what they learn in their English classes to
their higher education studies or current career path. Contemporary,
professional vocabulary and structure are taught in a meaningful context
and reinforce learning. The students’ abilities in their fields of study, in turn,
improve their ability to acquire English.
