It looks like something straight out of a 1920s convenience store or from a warehouse of work tools, but it also
recalls the ziggurats, the sacred terraced step pyramids built in ancient Mesopotamia: Gask is a small
suspension lamp with a grand personality. The steel mount, with its rough and textured embossed black finish,
is joined to the blown glass diffuser with exposed brass bolts, which recall the atmosphere of an old-fashioned
hardware store, in a play of contrasting materials, inspirations and sensations. The diffuser is available in two
versions, each with its own styling and lighting personality: milk white, for a warmer and more diffused lighting,
or transparent grey, that lets you catch a glimpse of the light source inside, a contemporary touch with a
high-tech flavour. Gask is a charming combination of memories and contemporary living, perfect in rooms of all
sizes, thanks also to the possibility of using it in compositions with Foscarini's multiple canopy.

Description
Suspension lamps with diffused and direct
down light. Diffuser made of hand-blown
triple-layer glass: glossy transparent in the
grey version and glossy cased in the white
version.
The mount is made of black fine powder
coated steel with embossed finish. Exposed
brass bolts act as both decoration as well as
glass stops. Stainless steel suspension
cable and black electrical cable, ceiling
canopy with galvanised metal bracket and
matt black batch-dyed ABS cover.

Description
A technical solution that couples function
with design harmony: The multiple ceiling
flange of Foscarini makes it possible to
create compositions up to 9 suspension
lamps to create cascades of light of high
emotional impact, particularly suitable to
enrich a stair case.
The standard multiple flange is designed to
suit a large number of suspensions from
both Foscarini and Diesel with Foscarini
collections.

Diesel Creative Team
In 2009, Foscarini signed a partnership agreement with Diesel as
part of the "Home Collection" home furnishings and lifestyle
project. This partnership has given Foscarini the opportunity to
make contact with a new target clientele and explore new lifestyles
and furnishing trends through a collection conceived by Diesel for
its own target group: "Diesel Living with Foscarini".
The Diesel Living with Foscarini collection speaks a range of
different languages - from rock to pop, industrial to vintage,
graphics to art - to illustrate the unmistakable Diesel lifestyle.
Ironic, transgressive, eclectic, incandescent, the collection is made
up of over 40 different lamp models. The collection is structured
into a range of forms, materials and intended uses, lending itself to
unexpected and unconventional settings, from domestic to public
environments, always with a strong personality. The materials
selected and researched for Foscarini, and perhaps even more so
in the Diesel Living with Foscarini collection, are of the utmost
importance. Materials which have never before been used in the
lighting industry are the collection’s added value.
