Note:
 Read these instructions carefully before assembling.
 Tools required: Phillips screwdriver, flat screwdriver.
 Find a clean, smooth area on which to work, such as a carpet, in order to avoid scratching the wood
surfaces.
 Wait to dispose of the packing material until assembly is complete and all parts and hardware are
accounted for.
 Two people might be required for assembly.
Assembly Tips
 Find a clean, smooth area on which to work, such as a carpet, in order to avoid scratching the
parts.
 Lay out all parts and hardware on the floor or on a table in the order of their number or letter. This
will familiarize you with the parts and also help you find a part when you’re ready to assemble it.
 Usually there is a small sticker on the part with the designating letter or number that matches the
letter or number in the instructions. If that sticker is missing, look at the drawing in the instruction
parts list, and try to recognize the part by its shape or characteristics like holes or grooves.
 We have provided both text and a drawing in each step, so using both will help the most.
 Each step assembles only a few parts, so just take it one step at a time.

Step 8
Insert file drawer into the assembled unit.
Step 9
Use Tip-Resistant Hardware (14) to attach the unit to your wall.
THIS HARDWARE, WHEN PROPERLY INSTALLED, CAN PROVIDE
PROTECTION AGAINST THE UNEXPECTED TIPPING OF FURNITURE.
Note: If you can attach the bracket to the wall so the screw hits the center of a stud, the plastic anchor is
not needed.
a) Use the small screw to attach one of the brackets to the back of the unit, near the top edge.
b) Place the cabinet in the desired location and make a mark on the wall where the bracket will be
mounted (it should be near the bracket on the cabinet). Move the cabinet away from the wall.
Make a hole in the wall that is slightly smaller than the diameter of the anchor.
c) Use the large screw to secure the bracket to the wall.
d) Place the cabinet back in the desired location. Secure the plastic tie through each bracket.
