Unit 4 – Two-Way Table Project (test grade)

1. Decide on data that you would like to gather in order to make a two-way table. You
must ask a minimum of 30 people.
2. Select a method for reporting and organizing your data to me:
a. Typed and decorated on the computer.
b. Power Point
c. Glogster.edu
d. Prezi.com
e. Brochure
f. Or any other approved format (see me for approval).
 Note, your project must be neat and colorful!!!
Item 1:
 Define joint frequency.
 Create a joint frequency table based on your data.
Item 2:
 Define marginal frequency.
 Create a table showing the marginal frequencies for your data.
Item 3:
 Define conditional relative frequency.
 Write a conditional relative frequency question.
 Create a table of percentages based on the previous question that you made.
Item 4:
 Based on your marginal frequency table, write 4 conditional relative frequency
questions AND find the answer in both fraction and percent form.
