Warm up

Test Preparation
Have the students write multiplication word problems. Model with stickers or cutouts. Trade with a
friend and solve each other’s word problems. Check work on MathLine.
Extension
Play a whole class game called, “Beep Beep.” Have everyone sit in a circle. One by one have the
students count from 1 to 100. When the number is a multiple of 5, the student must say, “Beep
Beep”! If a student says the wrong number of one of the multiples of 5, they are out of the game
until the next round.
