Counting, recognising and writing numbers to 100
This week we have been working with numbers to 100. We have been practising
counting forwards and backwards to 100 and writing numbers to 100.
We have also looked at a hundred square and talked about how the hundred square
works.
This weekend please practise counting to 100 (and slightly beyond) starting from any
number not just from 0 or 1 and also counting backwards from 100 starting at any
number.
Talk to your child about the hundred square and how the numbers are sequenced in 1s
horizontally and in 10s vertically.
