land of the loon food booths
Welcome to the 36th annual Land of the Loon Ethnic Arts & Crafts
Festival! This two-day event, held the 3rd full weekend in June,
celebrates the culture and customs of the diverse people who settled
in Northeastern Minnesota. Festivities begin with a 9:00 a.m. Saturday
morning parade in downtown Virginia. Then the activities shift north
to beautiful Olcott Park where you can sample delicious ethnic foods,
listen to colorful music from countries around the world, browse the
hundreds of art and craft booths, and celebrate the weekend-long
family entertainment hosted by Iron Range volunteers.
