Roller Coaster Rounding: Rounding to the Nearest 10
When we round numbers, we change the number to what is closest. It’s something like a roller
coaster. If the number is a car on the roller coaster, then it either moves forward or backwards
depending on where it is.
If the roller coaster car ends
between 0 and 4, it goes back
to the beginning.
If the roller coaster car
ends between 6 and 9, it goes
forward to the end.
If the roller coaster car ends
in 5, it goes forward to the end.
