Cold War Bunker Tours
During the height of the Cold War, the U.S. Government built a relocation facility for Congress
at The Greenbrier and today the resort offers tours of this once top-secret bunker. Built in
conjunction with an above ground addition to the hotel, the West Virginia Wing, the Bunker
now offers a fascinating reminder of The Greenbrier’s unforgettable history. Ninety-minute
tours depart throughout the day from the Trellis Lobby. Advance reservations are required.

The dress code for most venues is resort casual during the day,
although more formal attire (such as business casual) is still
expected when appropriate. Denim is not permitted in any
dining venue for dinner or the Casino Club after 7:00 pm.
Sport coats are required for men in the Casino Club after 7:00
pm.
Resort casual attire: Collared sport shirts, golf and/or tennis
sweaters, shirts or blouses, slacks, walking shorts, Bermuda

OFF ROAD DRIVING
Guests of The Greenbrier have the opportunity to get behind the
wheel of fully loaded SUVs and put the vehicles through their
paces on a specially designed, off-road course on our 6,750-acre
mountain estate. The Greenbrier Off-Road Driving Adventures
offers lessons seven days a week. Minimum age requirement is
16 years; guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
