WELCOME TO ANOTHER GREAT SEASON OF SHOWS TO
TAKE US THROUGH TO THE FIRST BUDS OF SPRING.
This season we have superb headlining
musicals beginning with the West End tour
of DIRTY DANCING in February bringing
the story of Johnny and Baby from screen
to stage in this dynamic production which
is garnering rave reviews on tour.
A brand new stage show makes its Irish
debut on our stage when WONDERLAND
arrives in February as part of its UK tour.
This enchanting musical adaptation of the
Lewis Carroll classic stars Wendi Peters
(Coronation Street) and acclaimed musical
theatre favourite, Dave Willets.
We have a wide range of Irish music artists
this season with THE HIGH KINGS, DEREK
RYAN and CHARLIE LANDSBOROUGH
in January. HOMEGROWN returns in the
same month featuring a number of upand-coming local musicians including
PAUL CASEY and THE HENRY GIRLS.
JOHNNY MCEVOY and the globally
renowned TOMMY FLEMING return while
the ever popular DANIEL O’DONNELL
makes a welcome comeback in April.
Our venue is recognised as being a leading
venue on the comedy circuit and this
season we have Blame Game favourite
JAKE O’KANE in January; Irish comics
CONAL GALLEN and TOMMY TIERNAN in
February while NEIL DELAMERE and OMID
DJALILI promise to provide fun nights out
for our comedy going patrons in March.
I am delighted to welcome the
internationally renowned Royal Moscow
Ballet with SLEEPING BEAUTY and
look forward to watching this fairytale
world come to life before our eyes
with its breathtaking sets and vibrant
choreography.
We have drama with Shakespeare’s
HAMLET, brought to us by Icarus Theatre
in January. There is comedy drama by
popular local playwright, Irene Melaugh,
with THE DERRY DUMPED DIVORCEES’
SUPPORT GROUP in March. The LMS
joins us with SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN
BROTHERS later in the season.
We have a fabulous show for children when
Olivier nominated ROOM ON THE BROOM
makes its debut in this magical, musical
adaptation of the classic picture book by
Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.
I hope you can join us in our busy season!

It’s A Funny Old World with
Brendan Grace
The sanctimonious priest who knows more than he’s telling;
the father of the bride who makes a speech at his daughter’s
wedding; the schoolboy with the unspeakable personal habits
and a fine line in sympathy pleas. Brendan Grace is all of
these and more.
Brendan’s material owes more to the best of the traditional
stand-up-comics than it does to modern alternative humour
and his show is very much a show for all the family.
From the producers of ‘Do You Come Here Often’ and after
two sell out tours, George Jones will host a brand new show
celebrating songs from the ‘50s and ‘60s. Featuring the music
of iconic stars such as Bobby Darin, Bobby Vee, Neil Sedaka,
Patsy Cline, Dusty Springfield and Petula Clark to the early
Rock ‘n’ Roll songs from Elvis and the Four Seasons. Starring

“A wide eyed
philosopher of love and
life who performs as if
appalled by the idea of

THE GUARDIAN
As if receiving instructions from a strange and distant star,
Tommy Tiernan takes to the stage refusing to take anything
seriously.
The political and the personal are all up for grabs as the only
goal of the evening is laughter. Let our struggles be mocked
and our cares abandoned. Allow yourself to be guided by a
language loving and theatrical performer with a half thought
out plan, no professional qualifications and a mouth with
a mind of its own. Can you trust him? To be silly, yes. To

TV and West End star Wendi Peters, much loved for her
acclaimed portrayal of Cilla Battersby-Brown in Coronation
Street, will headline the UK tour of Wonderland as Queen
of Hearts alongside musical theatre favourite Dave Willetts,
who rose to fame for playing the title role in Phantom of the

Hailed by the New York Times as “inspirational”, Wonderland
is an enchanting musical adaption of Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s
Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass,
with a huge heart, a medley of magic and a whole lot of
wonder. Here a timely and touching story of love in all its

“ In the extraordinary
‘THE LONESOME
WEST’, two brothers,
one of whom has killed
their father, are closeted
together in undying
hostility like a pennedup Cain and Abel.”
The Guardian.
Bickering brothers, Coleman and Valene share a house in the
wild west of Ireland. One obsesses about his religious ornaments
and his precious poteen, the other thinks only of his stomach,
regularly crashing funerals in his quest for a free sausage roll.
Their local priest, troubled by a spate of murders in the area,
tries and fails to convince the squabbling pair to set aside their
petty differences. But when the brothers vow to be nicer to
one another and wipe the slate clean by confessing to a string
of vile misdemeanors towards one another, things can only
degenerate into vicious and bloody carnage.
The Lonesome West is the third play in Martin McDonagh’s
bleak but blackly comic Leenane trilogy.
