THE
CITY OF NAMPA, CANYON
COUNTY,
IDAHO
IMPLEMENTING NO INCREASE IN THE FEES CHARGED BY THE CITY OF NAMPA FOR IRRIGATION
RATES AND CHARGES OF USER FEES, HOOK- UP FEES, AND OTHER FEES — DELINQUENT CHARGES
EXHIBIT A) AND THE PASS THROUGH OF UNDERLYING IRRIGATION DISTRICTS TO THE CUSTOMERS
OF THE CITY OF NAMPA.
WHEREAS, the City of Nampa Board of Appraisers, as constituted under Nampa City Code 3- 1- 1 and
8- 2- 4, has reviewed Exhibit A implementing no increase for certain fees charged by the City of Nampa for irrigation
services and has recommend approval by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the Council and the City of Nampa, Canyon County, Idaho deems it necessary, desirable,
and in the best interest of the City of Nampa, to have no increase for certain fees charged by the City of Nampa for
irrigation services; and
WHEREAS, underlying irrigation districts for the City ( Boise Kuna, Pioneer, and Nampa Meridian
Irrigation Districts) have implemented rates that historically are passed directly through to the customers of the City;
and
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council and the City of Nampa, Canyon County, Idaho that an
increase by the City for irrigation rates is not required for the year 2015; and
WHEREAS, the City Council and the City of Nampa, Canyon County, Idaho will pass through its
underlying irrigation districts of Boise Kuna, Pioneer, and Nampa Meridian current rates to the customers of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NAMPA, IDAHO:
Section 1.
The City of Nampa, Canyon County, Idaho hereby implements no increase of fees as
described on Exhibit A attached hereto and, by this reference, incorporated herein as if set forth in full, effective
January 20, 2015.
Section 2.
The City of Nampa, Canyon County, Idaho will directly pass through the underlying
districts' fee for 2015.
