Founded in 1939, Snow King Mountain Resort - just six blocks from Town Square in
the heart of Jackson Hole - is Wyoming’s first ski resort. The King kicks off it’s 78th
winter season with enhancements to the Rafferty area including a magic carpet and
kid-friendly terrain features for the kids, as well as night skiing on Rafferty. Snow King is
“the local’s mountain” with a long history of recreational skiing, racing, and a full-service
mountain sports school. There are two terrain parks,two restaurants and a full-service
rental facility. For non-skiers and snowboarders, King Tubes snow tube park, the
Cowboy Coaster, and the scenic chairlift provide alternatives for every member of the
family to enjoy the thrills of winter, and take in the best view in town with amazing views
of downtown Jackson and the Tetons.
