Tundra Family Tent Set Up Instructions

Tundra Family Tent Set Up Instructions
Stage 1
Select ground that is clear of all sharp objects such as sticks, stones etc.
Unroll the inner tent and lay it out on the ground, floor down, position
the tent so that the prevailing wind is at a rear corner of the tent.
Assemble the fiberglass poles, taking care that the poles
do not snap together violently or against a hard
surface as pole splitting may result. Ensure
that the pole joints are seated full depth
in the metal ferrules. Thread the
fiberglass through the sleeves
(2 longer lengths in middle,
2 shorter lengths at the sides).
Pull the floor out ensuring that
it is completely square. Securely
peg down the corners of the inner tent floor,
taking care not to over tension the floor.
Stage 2
Open the inner tent door to allow air in as the tent is lifted.
Insert the poles into pin & ring which is attached to the
inner floor. With four poles secured, stand the poles up.
Stage 3
Attach the inner tent suspension hooks to the poles,
starting at the front of the tent then working around
and upwards. You may need to stand inside the open
inner tent door to reach the higher hooks.
Stage 4
Unfold the flysheet and drape it over the inner tent.
Ensure the front of the flysheet is located over the
front of the inner tent.
Peg down the peg loops. Tie on the guy ropes and
tension appropriately. The upright poles can
be used as
shown on the side walls.
To Dismantle
Simply reverse the above procedure. Note that shock-corded
poles need to be pushed through the sleeves, not pulled.
