AmpliTaq Gold® Fast PCR Master Mix, UP is designed to increase PCR amplification speed. The
amplification time (including ramping rate) is approximately 40 min for a 500 bp human genome DNA
fragment. The AmpliTaq Gold® Fast PCR Master Mix, UP has been optimized to generate template for DNA
sequencing reactions.
Read MSDS. For safety and biohazard guidelines, refer to the “Safety” section in the AmpliTaq Gold® Fast PCR
Master Mix, UP Protocol (PN 4391138).
This provides simplified procedures for using AmpliTaq Gold® Fast PCR Master Mix, UP. For details, refer to
AmpliTaq Gold® Fast PCR Master Mix, UP Protocol (PN 4391138).

a. Reaction volume may be adjusted to your experimental design, keeping the concentration of each component
constant.
b. Use any combination of water and template as long as the total volume of the PCR Master Mix, sample, and primers
equals 20 µl
c. Preferably > 100 copies of template but < 0.2 µg DNA per reaction
