Q. How often should I add water to the reservoir?
A. You should always check the water level (pump completely submersed) before
running the fountain each time. NOTE: Running the fountain without sufficient water
will cause damage to the water pump. Water should be added to the Woodland
Creature Fountain’s reservoir periodically to ensure the water pump is completely
submerged. When running the fountain on hot summer days, water should be added
more often to offset the increased amount of water evaporating.
Q. How much water should I add to the Woodland Creature Fountain’s reservoir?
A. Enough water should be added to the reservoir so the entire water pump is
completely submerged; roughly 144 fl oz of water.
Q. Is there any assembly required for the Woodland Creature Owl Fountain?
A. Some assembly is required to connect the water tube, light power cord and AC
adapter power cord to the water pump.
Q. Is there any plumbing required to hook up a water source to the Woodland Creature Owl
Fountain?
A. Plumbing is not required as the included water pump recirculates water from the
water reservoir.
Q. The Woodland Creature Fountain does not operate when plugged in?
A. If the Woodland Creature Fountain does not run when the AC adapter is plugged into
an outlet, please follow the below troubleshooting tips.
1. Make sure the AC adapter is attached to the water pump correctly as well as
the outlet
2. Check the water level in the fountain. Running the pump without sufficient
water can cause damage to the water pump.
3. Make sure the pump is connected to the water tube tightly and check for any
kinks or obstructions in the water tube.

4. The pump may be “air locked”. Plug and unplug the pump several times to
clear any air that may have been trapped.

A. Yes, simply detach the light power cord from the water pump to run the fountain
without the lights. Always unplug the fountain’s AC power cord from the outlet before
assembling, servicing or cleaning inside the water reservoir.

A. Yes, there is a 1 year limited manufacturer’s warranty on the Woodland Creature
Fountain from the date of purchase covering defects in materials and workmanship.
The warranty only covers the fountain under normal use and does not cover damage
due to neglect or abuse.
