EARLY TERMINATION RULE: The umpire-in-chief shall call a regulation game in the First and Second Rounds of the TournamentandawardthevictorytotheFederationTeamthatisaheadwhenever: • SuchFederationTeamisaheadby10ormorerunsafteranycompleteinning,beginningwiththecompletionofthe seventhinning;or • SuchFederationTeamisaheadby15ormorerunsafteranycompleteinning,beginningwiththecompletionofthe fifthinning. EXTRA INNINGS RULE:Foranyinningbeginningwiththe11thinning,theFederationTeamatbatshallbegintheinning withrunnersonfirstandsecondbase.Thebatterwholeadsoffaninningshallcontinuetobethebatterwhowouldlead offtheinningintheabsenceofthisextra-inningsrule.Therunneronfirstbaseshallbetheplayer(orasubstituteforsuch player)inthebattingorderimmediatelyprecedingthebatterwholeadsofftheinning.Therunneronsecondbaseshall betheplayer(orasubstituteforsuchplayer)inthebattingorderimmediatelyprecedingtherunneronfirstbase.
