Fieldwork
Pupils are introduced to the fieldwork & are offered
advice on possible topics during the week before halfterm. This will allow boys to collect data over the
half-term if they wish. The write-up is worth 20% of
the final Transfer Exam score, and the boys will spend
each lesson after half-term writing up their results to
their investigation.
Boys sitting the scholarship are not required to
produce a write-up but are encouraged to research a
topic and understand how the data could be collected
and presented.
This scheme of work may change during the course of the year in response to the boys’ learning needs.
