SERVICE OBJECTIVE
OVERVIEW – In this project you will be updating the POG for the Rx DIABETES & DIAGNOSTICS
Question #1 - Were you able to collect the required information? Unless the store is CLOSED or the MANGER
REFUSES, be sure to answer “YES”.
Meet with the store manager and inform them you are there to complete the Rx Diabetes & Diagnostics revision. The store should have
received their new POG on 3/10/17.
Ask the store manager to print the new planograms and mylars. POGs are store specific – NOT ALL STORES will have the same
discontinued and new items.
Ask the store manager for assistance in locating the new product.
A hand basket or shopping cart should be used to placed the discontinued product in.
New product is due to ship from the Walgreens DC on 3/1/17.
MAILING NEEDED – Be sure to bring your shelf hanger with you for this project. You were shipped 1 shelf hanger to be placed under the
NEW Contour Next One Blood Glucose Monitor. THIS PROJECT CAN STILL BE COMPLETED IF YOUR SHELF HANGER DID NOT ARRIVED
PRIOR TO THE START OF THIS PROJECT.
Pull discontinued product and give to the store manager for processing.

Check backroom and overhead shelves for overstock. Set any discontinued product aside.
Discontinued product found behind the pharmacy must be handled by the store.
There maybe old items that may need to be double faced.
Discard the old mylar.
Hand all discontinued product the store manager for processing once you’ve completed with the ENTIRE
revision. Inform the store manager that the meters are on a call in.

planogram.

(SELECT DOORS) Refer to the meter section on the planogram to determine if a the NEW Accu-Chek
Guide Glucose Monitor (WIC 981233) and the NEW Accu-Chek Guide Test Strips (WIC 981188) need
to be placed. NOTE: If the store receives the Accu-Chek Glucose meter, they will also receive the

Discontinued mylars can be found on the top shelf in the Rx Diagnostics area.
Replace Walgreens Glucose Gel Fruit Punch (WIC 361113) mylar with the Walgreens Brand Glucose Gel Fruit Punch
(WIC 351415) mylar. Place new mylar and discard the old one. Both old and new product should be in-line on shelf
with new mylar in channel strip. Discontinued product should be placed in front of the new product.
Replace Walgreens Gluco-Shot Fruit Twist (WIC 324149) mylar with Walgreens Gluco-Shot Mixed Berry (WIC
