The Planning Board has 9 members that are appointed. The Environmental Commission consist of 7 members. All of the above are volunteers that serve the community. By law, the borough council has general police powers granted all municipalities. It also has power to zone, to grant building and other permits, to issue borough licenses, establish speed limits on borough roads, and to provide for the public health and welfare.
