A. To further develop your critical thinking; Read the Sonnet 29 and Sonnet 106 and
answer the questions that follow:

1.How would you describe the shifting moods in Sonnet 29? What causes this shift?

B. Vocabulary: Choose your own example of Sonnet, from the link below. Pick out difficult words
and use any of the 4 vocabulary strategy to explore your vocabulary list. http://www.

Grammar: Write at least 3 paragraph about the Traditional Dance in UAE. Describe and use
correct modifiers in your sentences. Highlight the modifiers used.
D. English Social: Native American Sovereignty: Generate at least 10 open-ended questions about this topic
and be ready to share them in class. Projects should be done in class. Important Note: Projects made at home
are not accepted.
E. English Writing: : share a mash-up of creative writing prompts. Choose from the list of situation and
write a short story. Follow the steps learned in writing a short story. Make use of the plot diagram rubrics and
rubrics in writing a short story.
1. I Can’t Believe I Didn’t See That Coming : Write a story that starts with the line "You'll never get me
to tell you where the jewels are," and ends with the line, "I can't believe I didn't see that coming." Be
as creative as you can
2.. At a Chinese restaurant, your character opens his fortune cookie and reads the following message: "Your life is
in danger. Say nothing to anyone. You must leave the city immediately and never return. Repeat: say nothing."...
3.. It's your character's first day at a new school. He or she wants to get a fresh start, develop a new identity. But in
his or her homeroom, your character encounters a kid he or she knows from summer camp...
