Base Covers - Aluminum
Replacement Procedure
Base covers are made of ABS plastic, sheet aluminum, cast aluminum, and spun aluminum depending on the
type of pole. Bolt covers are made of aluminum and are typically used on round tapered aluminum (RTA)
poles. Nut cover discs are used with the cast bases of straight square aluminum (SSA) poles.
To ensure an exact match, please provide the original order number of the pole. Order the replacement base
cover using the following as an example only: SSA FBC FOR SSA 20 4C DDB MAEX 123-12345. Order the
replacement nut cover using the following as an example only: SSA BOLT COVERS for SSA 30 8G DDB MAEX
123-12345.
If this information is unavailable, please review the illustrations and photos of our different base covers, bolt
covers and nut cover discs, and order based on the nomenclature shown below the appropriate drawing or
photograph. Please make sure to include the color.
