INSTRUCTIONS
Distress and ink the edges of COPPER (reverse). Trim 1cm (½“) from the top and one side of BRICK WALL
(reverse), heavily distress (and tear in some sections) and ink the edges then adhere to the centre of COPPER.
Cut a 12cm x 19cm (4¾“ x 7½“) rectangle from BLUE PRINT (reverse) and also one 10cm x 16cm (4” x 6¼“)
from GARAGE (reverse). Distress and ink the edges of these then adhere to layout as shown.
Mix several drops of the black ink into some of the gel medium then apply near the top right and lower left
of your adhered papers using the arrow template. While the gel is still wet, dust with the black hex flakes and
allow to dry.
Ink the wooden flourish cog with black ink then use the leftover gel medium to apply a thick coat over the top.
Dust the hex flakes over the top and leave to dry.
Use the checker plate embossing folder to emboss a piece of the licorice cardstock, approximately 15cm x
10cm (6” x 4”) and distress the edges.
Once the gel medium is dry add stamping using the triangle texture stamp and the Scrap Yard clear stamp
then attach the embossed licorice card.
Using the leftover licorice card, die cut words and adhere to the top right corner then complete but cutting
the cogs in half and adhering along with collectables.
