At the Amsterdam RAI 7000 dogs and about 20.000 dog enthusiasts from all over the world ar comping together to create a unique event. Since this year the Amsterdam Winner Show is going to be a part of Hond 2016, an event for dog lovers with the slogan ‘Experience loving dogs’. Hond 2016 accommodates besides the dog show a shopping area, a promo village for breed clubs and an educative program with demonstrations, workshops and competitions. At the shopping area visitors will find the newest nicest and most beautiful dog related articles and special fair offers. Alle together this makes Hond2016 the complete educative and cosy day out for every dog enthusiast, where nobody can go home without buying something nice. Through an extensive marketing camp gain for Hond2016 the organization tries to inform a big group of potential visitors for a nice day out together with their dog. Hond 2016 is organized by the Dutch Kennel Club ‘Raad van Beheer’. Academy Events is involved in the organization. Academy Events organizes leading events about horses and animals such as Horse event and Animal Event, marketing and a demonstration program of Hond 2016. For the edition of 2016 the organization has the focus on expanding the shopping area. We have some major changes in reference to 2015: - Renewed classification: during Hond 2016 the dog shows will be integrated in the demonstration and workshop program and the shopping area. Each hall will contain show arenas, demonstration arenas, and a shopping area. The trade stands are situated directly at the corridors were the participants and visitors walk in to visit the different parts of the event. At the map (at www.hond2016.nl) you will find the new classification of the halls. The different colors show the different categories at the subscription form you will find on the next page. - Market based stand prices: the organization wants to keep the prices of the stands at Hond 2016 market based. The prices of the trade stands are lower compared to 2015. Amsterdam RAI offers facilities via a new, more simple webshop. Besides the trade stand possibilities we have sponsor packages to be optimal in sight of the participants and visitors of Hond 2016. A complete hall of one of the arenas linked to your name is a possibility. Also expressions in the arenas and extra online attention will make sure that your brand is seen by everyone. OPENING HOURS Hond2016 is open for visitors from 7.30 am. till ± 6 pm. All trade stand holders are obliged to open and occupy their stand during these hours. ASSEMBLY AND DISMANTLING The assembly of the stand will take place on Thursday the 8th of December 2016, exact times will follow. Dismantling of the stands may be carried out directly after the end of the show. After 12 pm. on Sunday December 11th all stand areas/pitches must be cleared. Cost for cleaning of the stand area will be charged to the trade stand holder. During the assembly the requirements of RAI should be followed. EXHIBITION LAYOUT You can find the most recent map on the website, www.hond2016.nl. This map is subject to any changes by the organization. In case you have reserved a specified area the organization will contact you in case of changes. However, the organization reserves at all times the right to change the layout. Your participation is not bound to a specific location. It is not allowed to build out your own stand or position your good outside the reserved area. PROVIDING TRADE STAND INFORMATION Your company information will be used for several PR publications before and during Hond2016. Your name will be listed in the trade stand list on the website, www.hond2016.nl and www.winnershow.nl and in the catalogue. We will use the information as specified in your application form. You are responsible for providing your information correctly and complete. EXHIBITION TICKETS Trade stand holders receive a number of trade stand tickets in accordance with the statement on the application form, they give you three days access to Hond2016. The trade stand ticket must be shown when entering the building. In case you need more exhibition tickets you can order additional cards. Trade stand tickets cannot be collected at the booking office. PARKING For the assembly day you will receive a parking pass. For the show days you need to buy parking tickets yourself at the cash register of the RAI or in advance via the “RAI exhibitor services” (€17,50 incl. VAT/ day or €45,- incl. VAT for three days) . For vans, trailers, etc. that occupy multiple parking spots, additional P-passes will have to be ordered. Vans < 6 meters €65,- incl. VAT/ day or €195,- incl. VAT for 3 days, > 6 meters € 130,- incl. VAT/day. SECURITY AND INSURANCE You are yourself responsible for your stand. We advise you to store your valuables securely or to remove them for the night. The organization shall not bear any responsibility for insuring goods or belongings of the trade stand holders. We advise you to conclude a so-called transport and residence insurance for your belongings. ELECTRICS AND FACILITIES Your stand comes with assembly (except free meters and market area) and carpeting. If desired, the organization is willing to be involved by the design of your stand. The organization can mediate this with third parties. You will receive information by e-mail for this purpose. You have to order the electricity by yourself, you can order and pay the electricity by the “RAI Exhibitor Services” via [email protected] or +31 (0)205491928. BEVERAGES AND FOOD It is not allowed to sell or give away beverages and/or food without permission of the organization. SMOKING POLICY It is not allowed to smoke in the exhibition halls with the exception of specially designated smoking areas (outside). We ask you urgently to comply with these rules. DISTRIBUTION OF FLYERS You can only disturbance advertising material from your stand. Distribution of flyers at other locations (inside or outside) is not allowed. DEMONSTRATIONS AND AUDIO In order to avoid disturbance of any kind, it is not permitted, without prior written approval of the organization, to reinforce the spoken word through speakers, play music and/or cause noise all where this may prove a nuisance condition. WASTE Every trade stand holders must take waste at home or arrange with the RAI that waste is collected at the stand (payed). After the event you must leave your stand in clean condition. PAYMENT All mentioned prices are exclusive VAT. The payment of the invoice must be in our account NL50ABNA0500311692 in the name of Hond2016, no later than November 30th 2016. Payment at the show is not permitted, unless this has been explicitly agreed in writing by both parties. CANCELLATION If you are forced to cancel your stand, cancellation costs will be charged. These cancellation costs are 10% of the stand rental fee till three months before the event, 25% till two months before the event, less than two months before the event and less than two weeks before the event you have to pay the whole amount. Cancellation must be in writing. GENERAL The organization reserves the right to take additional measures in the interests of the proper conduct of the exhibition or to set further rules for trade stand holders.
