May you see our cities as He does, praying inspired by His Word and His Spirit.

Church
Pray for clear vision and communication as local churches begin a partnership with the Luis Palau Association.
Pray for the Lord’s power and direction in Easter preparation: pastors’ messages, music and worship leaders,
and for the hearts of our whole community to be open to the Good News.
Pray for wisdom and God’s guidance for pastors as churches collaborate to serve our community in new ways.
Pray for love and good friendships to grow among pastors, ministry leaders, business leaders and civic leaders.
Family
Pray for marriages to be strengthened in God’s ways: selfless love, good communication, wisdom & honor.
Pray that more couples are equipped to counsel & stand with marriages, and lighten pastors' responsibilities.
Pray for Christ-following parents to model and teach their children how to be salt and light in the world.
Pray for children & youth to be drawn away from fear & negative spirituality, so they clearly see truth
and peace, being drawn to the Lord.
Education
Pray for all school administrators to have wisdom and compassion, great teamwork,
and the ability to create a caring, community culture within their schools.
Pray for the new LCC President, Margaret Hamilton, to have favor & wisdom as she begins her role.
Pray for Jesus-followers to be influencers and leaders, as they pray together for their schools.
Pray for more Jesus-followers to engage schools through volunteering and church/school partnerships.
Government
Pray for “Project 600,” a low-income housing initiative with the goal to provide 600 units with “wrap around”
services to lift people into stable and permanent homes.
Pray for wise & effective solutions for loitering that provide peace & well-being for the Eugene downtown.
Pray for the “15th Night,” a community-wide initiative to prevent youth homelessness: for harmonious
coordination with many agencies, informed and empowered youth, effective prevention/rescue strategies.
Pray for God’s presence, wisdom & guidance to be upon every local, state and national governmental leader.
Business
Pray for positive, encouraging and wise relationships among our business, government & faith sectors.
Pray for state business leaders and state government leaders to work in harmony to solve economic problems.
Pray for new quality businesses to be invited into, and established in our community.
Pray for believing business leaders to receive fresh wisdom and vision for their businesses.
Pray for the Pacific Continental Bank/Columbia Bank transition: God’s wisdom, for good relationships and
community banking to continue and provision of new jobs for employees that will be laid off.
Health Care
Pray for God’s guidance and wisdom for Dove Medical leadership (our local pregnancy center).
Pray for unity among Christ-following health care providers: connection, encouragement and strength.
Pray into the sharp rise of local Sexually Transmitted Diseases: for awareness, complete care, greater love/purity in relationships,
and wisdom for health care leaders.
Pray for wisdom and compassion in the divisive debate on transgenderism.
Pray for encouraging and enjoyable relationships between health care providers and patients.
Arts
Pray for Jesus-following artists to discover ways to serve the community through the arts.
Pray for the "20x21 Eugene Mural Project" (it's goal is to create 20 outdoor murals to decorate our community in preparation for the
2021 World Track & Field Championships):
For God to guide the selection of the murals & the artists, and that they would be full of light.
Pray for Jesus-following artists to let God's light shine through their art, and for secular artists to experience God's light and create
pieces that reflect light.
Pray for the Lord to guide the leaders at the McDonald theater in the selection of artists.
Police and Fire Departments
Pray for the personal peace and safety of those serving in our police and fire departments.
Pray for the mental and emotional well-being of the families of police and fire department servants.
Pray for community members to honor, support, encourage and empathize with our local first-responders.
Pray for our local justice system, judges and lawyers: for the consequences to fit the crime.
Pray for increased state and local collaboration & cooperation in treating the mentally ill.
Pray for God to expose child abuse, to heal victims, and to heal the officers and social workers involved.
Media
Pray for truthful, fair and accurate reporting in all areas of local media.
Pray for local media to have a passionate and positive community outlook.
Pray for favor and good relations between local media and community members.
Pray for those in media to have first-hand experiences of God’s love through the Church.
Sports
Pray for safety, protection and peace over every public sporting event.
Pray for coaches to give profitable advice & coaching to players, so strong player/coach relationships are established.
Pray for coaches at all levels to be empowered to encourage, teach, inspire and lead with integrity.
Pray for Christ-following athletes to be recruited to the U of O and that they become team influencers.
Pray for young athletes who are Jesus-followers to prioritize their time with God & be bold in their witness.
