Kent & Karen were born and raised here in B.C. They have
been married 45 years. They enjoy all aspects of the wonderful
outdoors, camping, hunting and fishing. Both retired now, they
devote all their time and effort to teaching others about firearms
safety and conservation of our wildlife. They particularly enjoy
showing others their passion for this wonderful sport.

Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC)
B.C. Wildlife’s
Conservation & Outdoor
Recreation Education (C.O.R.E.)
This course is required for anyone aged 10 & older to
obtain a B.C. Resident Hunter Number Card.
This course is required for anyone aged 12 & older
interested in obtaining a firearms license (PAL) for
non-restricted firearms.
Course covers:
·The evolution of firearms, major parts, types and
actions
· Basic firearms safety practices
· Ammunition
· Operating firearm actions
· Safe handling and carry procedures
· Firing techniques and procedures
· Responsibilities of the firearms owner/user; and
·safe storage, display, transportation and handling of
non-restricted firearms.
Course length: 8-9 hours
Cost: $160.00 including manual, test fees, and HST.
This course is required for anyone aged 18 & older
interested in upgrading a firearms license (PAL) to
include restricted firearms.
Course covers:
· Major parts, types and actions
· Basic safety practices
· Ammunition
· Operating restricted firearm actions
· Safe handling and carry procedures
· Firing techniques and procedures
· Responsibilities of the firearms owner/user; and
·Safe storage, transportation and handling of restricted
firearms.
Course length: 5 hours
Cost: $100.00 including manual, test fees and HST.
Course covers:
· Conservation
· Ethics
· Laws and Regulations
· First-Aid and Survival
· Firearm Safety and
· Animal and Bird Identification.
Cost: $140.00 including manual, test fees and HST.
Or: $110.00 if combined with the Firearms Safety Course
We provide the Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC),
Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC)
and the C.O.R.E. Hunting Program. We are a firearm
training company located in Cloverdale, B.C. and serve
Surrey, Langley, Delta, Abbotsford, Aldergrove, Mission,
Vancouver and the lower Mainland.
We offer classes in firearm safety training and hunter
safety in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere with
very caring and patient instructors. Our objective is to
provide you with the best firearm safety training in order
for you to become a safe, responsible, caring gun owner and
sportsman.
The Canadian Firearms Safety Course Exam(s) must
be passed in order to get a Possession and Acquisition
License. We also provide all the necessary Government forms
and applications for firearm licenses.
