The Ministry of Tourism, Palmares S.A Business Group, and
Varadero Golf Club invite you to participate in the 9th
edition of the international elite Golf event.
The "CUBA GOLF GRAND TOURNAMENT", to be held from
October 26th to 28th, 2017, convenes professional or
amateur players over 18 years old with a certi ed
handicap of 24 or under for men, and 30 or under for
ladies. There will be one practice round and two
competition rounds, disputing three prizes per category.
The decision taken by the Organizing Committee regarding
granting prizes will be DEFINITIVE.

The of cial inbound travel agency of the Tournament will
be Havanatur Tour & Travel with its department for events,
incentives and specialized tourism.
All participants registered for the event will have the
opportunity to pay a supplement for one companion, who
could enjoy the social activities of the program.
The Varadero Golf Club has a 72-par course located in the
northern coast of the Hicacos Peninsula with challenging
dif culties for any category of players. It was designed by
architect Les Furber with the incomparable style of Robert
Trent Jones.
The golf course has gained international prestige when,
the European Challenge Tour's Grand Final was held in
1999 and 2000, where 15 of 45 nalists reached the Order
of Merit of the PGA European tour.
The Varadero Golf Club offers a unique environment at its
famous Mansion Xanadu club house and its Bar Mirador
where visitors can enjoy a spectacular view of the light
green tone of the golf course and the turquoise blue of the
surrounding sea, perfect scenery to complement their
experience in the "CUBA GOLF GRAND TOURNAMENT".
Requirements for players:
Dress code for golfers: pants or shorts and collared Tshirts
Players are recommended to bring their own golf clubs
Registration: 120 players although they could be more if
necessary.

of arrival (after the closing date, the forms will be only
accepted by request and depending on availability)
Cancellation policy: Any cancellation within 8 days prior
to the event won't be entitled to refund.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The tournament will take place in three rounds: one practice round and
two competition rounds that will total the nal result of each player.
The Of cial Golf rules and the local rules of Varadero Golf Club will be
applied.
