We will need your full name as it appears on your passport. A $50.00 per person non-refundable deposit is due to AAA
Travel upon making your reservation. Final payment is due April 3, 2017. After final payment has been made, no
refund will be given. We strongly suggest the purchase of Trip Cancellation Insurance.

MEXICO – SEE IT TO BELIEVE IT!
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Riviera Maya, Mexico with my family. It took me many years to travel to
Mexico as I had some of the same reservations as many of you may have. I could not have been more wrong! We have
taken many trips as a family visiting Walt Disney World and Universal numerous times, cruises, and trips to beaches
along our own Atlantic coast. Although all those trips were great and we have many wonderful memories, we all agreed
that this trip to Mexico was the best vacation we ever had! So, what was keeping me from visiting Mexico?
First, I was worried about the safety issue. We hear all the negative news about Mexico. However, after
researching for myself, I found that most of the issues are far removed from the tourist area that we visited. It would be
similar to us not visiting Florida because there are problems in Maryland. It’s kind of silly, right? My husband and I flew
with our 3 sons, ages 22, 19 and 10 from Baltimore to Cancun for a week. I can tell you that all of us felt extremely
comfortable and safe. We had transfers arranged from the airport to our resort and our driver was very friendly and
professional. We ventured out on three different days to do excursions and again, no issues at all. Of course, we used
good judgment when deciding what to do and where to go as you should whenever or wherever you travel. We booked all
of our trips at the excursion desk at the resort.
Next, I thought what is there really for us to do? Of course, I am familiar with the resorts and the beach aspect of
the vacation. But we have a very active family who like a little adventure and to experience new things. I can tell you
that there is something for everyone. We spent the day at Xel-Ha which is an all-inclusive ecological water park where
we went snorkeling, riding zip-lines and rope swings, jumping off the Cliff of Courage into the waters and exploring. The
park is all you can eat and drink and includes free lockers, snorkeling equipment and towels. For an extra fee you can
swim with the dolphins, manatees or stingrays. On another day we went zip-lining in the jungle, repelled 70+ feet into a
cave, snorkeled in an underwater river and visited Tulum. I have to say that zip-lining and repelling are out of my
comfort zone, but I loved it and can’t wait to do it again.
Tulum was breathtaking!!!
We took a tour of the ruins and our guide was so informative and passionate about the area and the history. Our last
excursion was just as great as the other two. We visited Akumal (land of the turtles) Beach which is a beautiful lagoon
with white sand, colorful tropical fish, stingrays, barracudas, and of course Sea Turtles. I was not sure what to expect and
if we would really see many turtles. I was not disappointed! We saw many turtles and on a couple of occasions I found
myself having to get out of their way.
I am now planning a group trip to Mexico with AAA Travel in June and cannot wait to go back. There is so much more
to see and do. This time I have arranged our stay at the Grand Sunset Princess resort located in Playa Del Carmen. You
are minutes away from shopping on 5th avenue, or take the ferry and spend the day in Cozumel.
With the connections that I made while there, I am hoping to arrange some private tours for our group to the ruins and
other destinations depending on the interest of everyone. Of course, the tours would be optional. If you would like more

AAA expressly reserves the right to withdraw any tour or make changes in the tour, with or without notice, that may become necessary, including substitution of
accommodations or transportation. No carrier with whom transportation shall be arranged in connection with these tours shall have or incur any responsibility or
liability as a common carrier.
AAA North Penn gives notice that all tickets and coupons are issued or delivered by them and all arrangements for transport or conveyance, or for hotel
accommodations, are made by them the agents for passengers upon the express condition that they shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or
irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of defect in any vehicle or through the act of default of any company or person engaged in conveying the
passenger, or of any hotel proprietor, or employee, or in carrying out the arrangements of the tour, or otherwise in connection therewith. No carrier shall have or incur
any responsibility to any person taking this tour except its liability as a common carrier. The airline and/or steamship lines concerned are not conveyances. The passage
contract in use by the airline and/or steamship lines concerned when issued shall constitute the sole contract between the carrier and the purchaser and/or passengers of
these tours. The aforesaid AAA North Penn can accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes of schedule, weather, strikes, and war,
quarantine or other causes. All such losses or expenses shall have to be bourne by the passengers.
