Dress Rehearsals
Thursday 25th and Friday 26th July
And performance Saturday 27th July
Dear Parents and SSS Choir students,
Well it’s almost time!! We have two more rehearsals and then the performance on the
27th of July. We will be heading off on the bus to Hisense Arena on Thursday 25th and
Friday 26th July at 8 a.m. sharp!! We will again be sharing a bus with Donvale Primary
School. The cost of this trip will be $20 which will cover both trips and will need to be
paid by Monday 22rd of July.
Dress Rehearsal Hisense Arena Thursday 25th July all day (8-5)
Full Dress Rehearsal Hisense Arena Friday 26th July all day (8-5) Children are to wear
their State School Spectacular T-Shirts, choir pants, black shoes and dark socks.
Children will need to bring a small bag with bottled water, snacks and lunch for the day.
They will not need to bring their music.
It’s very important that the children keep practising their music and choreography at

1st Performance (11 a.m.) Hisense Arena Saturday 27th July
2nd Performance (5 p.m.) Hisense Arena Saturday 27th July
Children will need to be at Hisense Arena at 9.30 a.m. (the time still needs to be
confirmed) on the day of the performance and have lunch, snacks and a drink bottle
with water in it. If there is a parent that is willing to pick up some takeaway food (24 x
Pizza, Red Rooster or other meals??) and bring them into Hisense at around 3 p.m. that
would be great. In the past we have done Red Rooster so that the kids have something
substantial to eat before the 2nd performance.
You will need to pick your child up after the second performance. Last year it finished at
around 8.15 and we had a central meeting place for those who didn’t have parents in
the audience. I will get back to you about the exact time and place.
