Tim Vergano affectionately calling “Simon Says...” Tonightʼs performance has been directed by eight talented and dedicated senior students. All of the students Assistant Stage Manager.........................................Jenn Franzen acting in the show are from our advanced Drama 3/4 class. Fifteen students in Running Crew....................... Rebecca Anderson, Aura Haddad, Sarah Ferguson, Dillon Pilorget, Ariel Pyne, Cody Shearer, Felicia Sump,Caitlin Winkenbach all are using this show to earn their Senior project which is a requirement to graduate. It gives us great pride in our drama program to be able to provide this opportunity for our students and to bring this very special evening to you. Last year, for our very popular production called, Word Play, we faced large crowds and had to turn away many patrons who never got to see the show. While we were very excited to have “sold out” audiences, the tension produced by disappointed ticket buyers was stressful and put a damper on what should have been a joyous occasion for our students! To help remedy that unfortunate situation, we have done three things in hopes that more people will get to see this show. First, we have added another performance. Secondly, we have shrunk the size of the stage and enlarged the number of seats available by at least twenty. And lastly, we will be broadcasting tonightʼs performance into the commons for anyone who wants to watch it and did not get a ticket. We are crossing our fingers that all of these things will help reduce the number of angry complaints we received last year regarding not being able to see the show. This yearʼs experience hopefully will be positive and enjoyable for everyone who has worked so hard to bring it to you. You can help us make seeing this show a positive experience as well. If you have already seen the production maybe think about watching the remaining performances in the commons and allowing someone else the experience of seeing it live and in person. This is a very special evening for our students. We are delighted to celebrate Neil Simon with all of you. He is arguably Americaʼs most popular and successful playwright . We hope you enjoy these eight very diverse and entertaining scenes. We are so honored to have you here and we appreciate your support of our program and the students who give so much of their time and energy to our shows. As always.. Enjoy the show!
