Diane Ravitch will change the way you think about public education.
Ravitch is a research professor of education at New York University
and a nonresident senior fellow at the Brookings Institution. She
has written 10 books, including Reign of Error: The Hoax of the
Privatization Movement and the Danger to America’s Public
Schools. She was assistant secretary of education and counselor
to the secretary of education during part of the George H. W. Bush
Administration. Her writing has appeared in many newspapers and
magazines, and she blogs for Education Week, Politico and
The Huffington Post.

through a short story—on a specific innovation and the impact it has
on our world.

Anatomy in Clay Is Building a Strong STEM Education! Come Build With Us!*
Discover the “Perfect STEAM Anatomy Lab Station.” This hands-on workshop will help you develop
engaging, rigorous, project-based anatomy education in your classroom. This methodology will help you meet
your core standards while providing students a successful pathway to high-wage and high-demand careers
in the health-science field. We will build muscles and body systems in clay on a replica of a skeleton. This is
