Anybody serious about isolating their turntable should
strongly consider a wall-mount shelf like Target’s
venerable VW model. A welded steel frame is screwed
directly into your wall studs (16 inch OC) in 4 places.
A Heavy steel isolation shelf frame bolts onto the wallmounted frame. Inset and placed upon upturned spikes
rests a 3/4” MDF shelf insert upon which you place your
turntable or other audio equipment. The VW is painted
with a durable black textured powdercoat and the MDF
shelf insert is laminated to cosmetically match.

Audio electronics need to be placed upon a sturdy
rigid platform to securely resist resonance. Target’s
new ESV 60 (24” tall) and ESV 90 (36” tall) equipment
racks include 4 2” x 3” profile steel legs and include
3 component shelves each. Each CS component shelf
features a thick steel frame into which a thick, laminated
MDF shelf is inserted. ESV 60 racks can support up to
2 additional CS shelves and ESV 90 racks and support
up to 3 additional shelves. Optional spikes or casters are
also available.
If you require additional isolation, Replace shelves with
the even more rugged IS Isolation shelf. Constructed of
the same 1 x 2 inch steel as the VW, this unit supports
a 3/4 inch thick MDF shelf on spikes which is ideal for
particularly vibration sensitive equipment such as tube
preamplifiers and turntables.

on a Target AS floor stand. These amplifier stands are
constructed with the same frame and shelf insert as our
standard CS shelves found in the equipment racks, but
they also include 4 chrome plated spikes threaded into
the bottom to elevate and isolate your equipment in an
attractive but functional way.
AS Amplifier Stand
Big speakers need big stands. In addition to the high
mass Target loudspeaker stands provide, the extra
footprint of the optional machined aluminum stance
plates will give your speakers and stands a wider base to
prevent tipping.
Add some style to your stands with the Bling Thing 2.0
kit which includes chrome plated spikes and matching
caps which simplify leveling and elevate the appearance
of your equipment. Can be used with or without Stance
Plates.

Don’t let hardwood or tile floors keep you from using
spikes under your speakers or stands. Target’s Floor
Protection Footers are powder coated steel with a
rubber isolator that accept spikes on top but provide a
protective surface beneath that keeps your speakers in
place but won’t damage your floors. Available in 4 packs.
