Our Reclaimed Heart Pine Collection is made from genuine,
century-old reclaimed heart pine lumber. The slow growth and
natural aging of the wood creates its characteristically beautiful
golden auburn hues and rich patina. Authentic features include
nail holes, wood plugs, chiseled bevels and a pronounced grain
pattern – a true testament to its history and irrefutable value.

The skillful artisans who hand-make this collection are master craftsmen
that take no shortcuts. The heart pine's inherent character is enhanced
and preserved: nail holes and checks are expertly filled, and bolt holes
and larger defects are repaired with natural heart pine wood plugs and
patches. Each plank is hand textured, the bevels of every board are hand
chiseled, and all staining is done by hand to ensure that the wood will
exhibit a lustre that only traditional methods can achieve.

Wood Adhesive: Used To Glue All Components Together
• Highest Quality Low-VOC, Formaldehyde-free Wood Glue
• Compatible with regulations governing air quality such as California’s
CARB 2 and Japan’s F Four Star standards
The Reclaimed Heart Pine Collection of handcrafted hardwood flooring
is made with wood from antique and historic buildings from across the
United States, many of them more than 100 years old. This precious,
limited material is preserved in lasting and authentic planks which will be
cherished for generations to come.
The Reclaimed Heart Pine Collection's century-old past is portrayed through
a pronounced grain pattern, seasoning checks, and natural weathering
effects. In addition to giving the wood a beautiful patina, this aging process
contributes to a durability and hardness approaching that of oak.
Accessories
Matching mouldings and trim are an ideal way to complete an expertly
designed space. We create accessories using the same wood, stain and
finish as that of the flooring collection to achieve the utmost in design
unity and coordination. Our stairnosing, T-moulding, reducers and vents
are all Stocking Program products.
