4-H Facts
What do the H's stand for?
Head, Heart, Hands and Health.
What is the 4-H emblem?
A green four-leaf clover with a white "H" on
each clover leaf. The official emblem is copyrighted and may be used only as approved by 4H.
What is are the 4-H Colors?
Green and White
4-H members pledge:
I pledge my head to clearer thinking, my heart to
greater loyalty, my hands to larger service, my
health to better living for my club,
my community , my country and my world.

Each youth we get a 4-H Balloon, they will be separated
into 4 groups and each group given one of the 4 “H”’s to
learn about while having fun with their balloons

While standing in a circle; pass a ball of string from one
member to another. The rules are only the person with the
string can talk. After everyone has had their turn to speak
and introduce themselves, there will be a web of string.
Then we will toss a balloon in the middle and have them
try to keep it. They are not allowed to touch it. This symbolizes “teamwork”.

1 scoop Chex cereal
1 scoop Raisins
1 scoop Peanuts
1 scoop M & Ms
Put into a Ziploc bag and shake to mix. Use a 1/4 measuring cup as the scoop.
