SITUATION UPDATE: as of 9am 17 Dec. 2009
Mayon Volcano: 3-6-8 km Danger Zones-Affected Population and Evacuated Barangays
An estimated 20,000 families will be affected by the
Mayon Volcano eruption. According to the Albay
Provincial Disaster Operation Center 9,500 families is
targeted for evacuation while the rest will be for
voluntary evacuation.
