Itinerary
Day 1 : DEPART USA
Depart on an overnight flight to Lisbon.
Day 2 : LISBON
We arrive in Lisbon and are greeted by our English speaking tour director. We transfer to
Lisbon where we embark on a sightseeing tour to discover the city: the old quarter of Alfama,
the Cathedral and Church of Saint Anthony, the beautiful squares of Praça do Comercio,
Rossio the historical quarter of Belém, with the Monastery of Jerónimos, the Monument
of the Discoveries and the Tower of Belem. Mass will be celebrated. Overnight Lisbon with
dinner at hotel. (D)

Breakfast. Departure for Santarem, to discover the Church of St. Stephen, containing the
Eucharistic Miracle and to celebrate Mass. We continue to Fatima (for two nights), the famous pilgrimage world center, where the Blessed Mother appeared in 1917 to three simple
shepherd children and exhorted mankind to pray for world peace. Dinner and overnight at
the hotel in Fatima. (B.D.)
Day 4 : FATIMA
Breakfast. In the morning we have time to visit the village of Aljustrel to see the homes of the
three holy children. We have lunch on our own, followed by a visit to the Basilica. At 5:30 PM
we join the special Eucharistic Healing Procession, which takes place in the Cova de Iria. We
celebrate Mass at the Basilica and participate in the spiritual program at the Shrine of Our
Lady of Fatima. Diner and accommodation at the hotel in Fatima. (B.D.)
Day 5 : FATIMA-COIMBRA- PORTO
Breakfast. Departure to Coimbra to visit the seven hundred year old University of Coimbra,
the Cathedral and the Santa Cruz Monastery. We see the convent where Sr. Lucia lived and
the incorrupt body of St. Isabel. We stop in the lovely town of Aveiro, also known as Venice
of Portugal. We then drive a short distance to the city of Porto where we have a city tour and
enjoy port tasting at a local port making facility. We celebrate Mass in Porto. Dinner and
overnight in Porto. (B.D.)

Day 6 : BRAGA- PONTEVEDRA
Breakfast. We depart for Braga where we see the Shrine of Blessed Alessandria and visit
Braga which also includes the famous Cathedral, the St. Frutuoso Chapel, the Sanctuary
and the Baby Jesus. It is one of the most famous pilgrimage centers in the Iberian Peninsula. (walking-steps). Here we celebrate Mass. We continue to Pontevedra for dinner and
overnight. (B.D.)
Day 7: PONTEVEDRA- PADRON – LA CORUNA
Breakfast. We celebrate Mass at the Shrine of Our Lady, before departing for Patron. Here
the walkers depart by foot towards Santiago de Compostela, the rest of the group departs
by bus to La Coruna. Dinner and accommodations in Santiago de Compostela for the bus
group. For the walkers dinner and overnight will be enroute. Depending on the number of
walkers a smaller vehicle will accompany them along the walking path on the Camino to
Santiago. Dinner and overnight for the walkers along the Path of St. James in Tao or Francos.
Day 8: La CORUNA- BUS GROUP
Breakfast. We embark on a full-day Tour to La Coruna, the capital of the region of Galicia, in
north-west Spain. After Santiago de Compostela, la Coruna is probably Galicia’s most visited
locality. It is an important location in its own right and possesses the world’s oldest working
lighthouse; the Tower of Hercules and the galeria (glass fronted) harbor buildings that have
given rise to it becoming known as the “glass city”. Maria Pita square, with the massive and
palatial “Palacio Municipal” building, is also a must see attraction for all visiting tourists. The
afternoon is at leisure to spend at the beach. We return to Santiago de Compostela at the
end of the day. You are free for dinner, staying in Santiago. (B.D.) The walkers will have dinner

Day 9: SANTIAGO De COMPOSTELA
Breakfast. The day is a mini-retreat for the bus group and a visit to a local mansion with magnificent landscaped gardens, lakes and waterfalls. In the afternoon the walking group should
arrive and everyone will meet at the Basilica for a visit of the Cathedral and Mass together.
Tonight we have a festive farewell dinner with wine and local food. Overnight in Santiago. (B.

Day 10: RETURN to USA
Following breakfast early this morning we are transferred to our flight home. (B)

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS: Fatima And Camino de Santiago
Deposits and final payment: A deposit of $500.00 per person
by check should accompany the registration form along with your optional
insurance payment and a copy of your passport picture page by 2016. Final

Your passport must be valid at least six month after the date of the trip
return. Reservations will not be processed until we have passport copies.
Prices quoted are based on cash payments. Cash prices $3,099.00 for the
complete package, $2,299.00 land only (air not included), $495.00 single
supplement (in room by yourself) Credit card payments are: 3,254.00 for the
complete package, $2,414.00 for land only, $520.00 single supplement
Airline, seating and special requests: The seats are assigned by the airlines. We do not reserve specific seats. You may change your seat, provide
mileage program information and passenger contact information directly
with the airlines once the ticket numbers are received. (approximately three
weeks prior to departure). All special needs and requests due to medical
or dietary restrictions must be requested in writing at least 60 days prior
to departure. Business class and premium coach seats are available upon
request as are add-ons from your hometown airport.
Single supplement: A limited number of single rooms are available at an
additional cost of $495.00 per person cash payment. Prices are based on
two people per room. We do not GTD room mates but will do our best to
connect you with a possible share.
Land Only Option: $2,299.00 per person cash price. Land only services
start and end at the hotels, unless you are able to meet the group at the airport, and do not include airfare.
Baggage: Each participant is permitted to check (1) suitcase weighing no more
than 50 lbs., and one small carry-on bag on the plane. Airline baggage fees are
not included. Please check the specific baggage fees on the airline website.
Tour Cancellation Policy: $300.00 non-refundable. 90-60 days before
departure a total of $500.00 is non-refundable. Within 60 days of departure all payments are non-refundable regardless of reason for cancellations. All cancellations must be in writing. Unused portions of the trip
are not refundable. We strongly urge you to purchase Trip Cancellation/
Travel Insurance at an additional $194.00 per person for Deluxe Basic
Coverage policy, which provides protection if you need to cancel due to
illness or job loss only or Cancel for Any Reason policy, which we recommend at $291.00 per person, based on trip cost of $3,099.00. Additional
details and policy information may be found on our website at: www.selectinternationaltours.com, home page under the useful information tab-insurance. The insurance premium must be received with the deposit.
Pricing: Prices are based on a minimum of 20 passengers traveling & payment by cash or check. Please call for a credit card price. Prices are based
on the current exchange rate of 1.20 USD to Euro and subject to recalculation. Deposits must be paid by check. Fuel surcharge and taxes are subject
to change at time of final invoicing.
Responsibility: Group Leaders and Select International Tours, and
or any travel agency and supplier in connection with this travel
program are not responsible for any illness, injury or loss to person or property, any delay, inconvenience or extra costs incurred due to the delay or
cancellations caused by weather or events beyond anyone’s control. Details
of the program, hotels, airports and airlines are subject to change based on
events beyond the tour company’s control. All other terms and conditions
