with the Stifab Farex integrate distribution system for

ADVANTAGES OF FARLINE HWBa
• In addition to the fact that Stifab Farex perimeter system
FARLINE HWBa, as FARLINE HWAa, is a total solution for
cooling, heating, ventilation and control, FARLINE HWBa
also offers an integrated electrical trunking solution.
• It can be supplied in a screened design with aluminium
ducting which is connected to a cable shelf, folding cover
and front casing panel for earthing.

• Vertical connection of plugs allows more options for
furnishing along the perimeter wall without connectors
and sockets being concealed. Excess cables can be collected
inside the folding cover.
• As with the Stifab Farex perimeter wall system FARLINE
HWAa all components are prefabricated and matched for
installation by a contractor – giving short attendance times
and a minimum of coordination with other contractors.

Installation:
The units are suspended on an assembly rail and the
prefabricated pipe and electrical trunking are positioned
once the units are fixed to the wall.

Connection:
Connection pipes, pipe stops and ducting covers are fitted at
the start and end of a unit branch.
Control equipment:
The connection cable is connected to snap-in terminals on
the unit’s connection card and is routed on to the adjacent
unit. The transformer is suspended on a wall rail and is
connected to the connection card, number as required.
Casing:
Perimeter casing and supply air grille are fitted in position
after which the room regulator is connected to the snap-in
terminals on the unit’s connection card.

with venting nipples pipe brackets and cable entries.
Coupling pipe set HWET SP
Coupling pipe set for joining heating, cooling and supply air
between units. Electrical trunking is available in either ABS
plastic or aluminium.
Wall block HWET VF
Sound dampening prefabricated wall block for fixed or interior walls.
Loose end section HWET LG
End sections in either right or left-hand designs with the same
dimensions as the FARLINE end sections.

SPECIFICATION
Perimeter unit system type FARLINE HWBa for cooling, heating
and ventilation and electrical trunking. The system shall comprise Stifab Farex room control equipment and essential accessories for connection of pipes and the air supply. Each unit shall
be supplied with a preset prescribed air flow.
The Stifab Farex delivery shall include all material for each unit
branch shown on the drawings for the physical limit of contract.
Wall penetration shall be carried out using Stifab Farex wall
block VF-1, Stifab Farex wall penetration VF-2 built on site or any
other method as set out on the drawing. Carried out by VE or
another contactor.
Stifab Farex casing Topline YMCa as set out in the drawing shall
be carried out by VE or another contractor.
Limits of contract
Stifab Farex’s limits of contract are the connection points for
water (according to the figure under Project planning –
Contractor – Physical limits of contract on page 141). At these
connection points RE connects to plain pipe ends, fills the
system, vents and carries out a pressure test.
VE connects to the duct connections with dimensions as set
out on the basic size drawing under the section
“Dimensions”.
EE provides an earthed 230 V socket for each transformer and
a fitted connection box for each thermostat.
EE supplies and installs requisite sockets for electricity, data,
telecom and route cables.
BE makes the cut outs in interior walls and soundproofs as
per the drawings.
