Today the Southland faces many problems
which can best be solved by her own people
in their own way. Her people cannot act
with intelligence and perspective if they do
not understand their own history, heritage,
and background. The SCV aims to make
that history more widely understood, and
more deeply appreciated.
When you join the Sons of Confederate
Veterans you honor one whose blood courses
in your veins. One who sacrificed much that
you might inherit a Southland blessed more
bountifully than any other section of our
great nation. Won’t you help carry on his
ideals?
