Class leading ruggedness
The TG-1 uses a double-layered construction,
consisting of a tough and lightweight polycarbonate
resin and a metal frame, lending elasticity to the
camera. This crush-proof construction ensures that the
camera will operate normally even if a 100kg weight is
applied evenly across the surface of the camera body.
The 2m shock-proof specification goes beyond just
proving that the TG-1 is tough to break. It also retains
the accuracy of the lens, shutter, and aperture even

Extreme wide-angle shooting is possible without sacrificing the
brightness of the TG-1’s f2.0 lens. Even in darker underwater
scenes, shoot wider, more dynamic images that clearly reproduce
the beauty of underwater scenery.
For far away subjects, the accessory tele-converter with 1.7x
magnification is ideal. Blur the background, draw attention to the
subject, and use higher shutter speeds while zooming in close on
the subject.
