National Conference 2012 Call For Presenters
MamaCon – the premier parenting conference for smart mommies everywhere –
happens May 19th 2012 in Bellevue, WA. This event features celebrity keynotes,
spa indulgences, and an entire day of super-informative, super-entertaining
Presentation Shorts from top parenting and life experts. Also included are Ask The
Parenting Expert and Ask the Life Expert option for super-helpful advice on a parenting or life challenge.
MamaCon is looking for dynamic presenters and super-qualified experts.
We’re looking for you!
Super-Informative, Super-Entertaining Presentation Shorts
Do you have a targeted message and great stage presence? Can you say something memorable, important, and actionable in just 18 minutes and leave people wishing for more? If so,
then MamaCon wants to know about you.
This all-day-Saturday event will be organized into several tracks. Each track will consist of
18-minute back-to-back presentations on everything from child rearing and parenting to
your well-being, life organization and personal dream development.
We want to leave participants breathless and excited…not bored and anxious to go home.
We’re depending on you…
To pull this off, you need these qualities:

Confident stage presence

A good sense of humor

Solid information delivered with a positive spin

Client-centered delivery devoid of self-promotion

An ability to tailor remarks to the MamaCon audience

Hip and savvy professional image

Ask The Experts
The Presentation Shorts will not include any sort of Q&A but there will be questions and
mothers will want answers. Moms who come with a key child-rearing or life challenge in
mind need to leave MamaCon with new strategies to take home. That’s where our Ask The
Experts parenting panel comes in.
These experts will be on hand to offer consultation throughout the conference in an ongoing panel with mom-submitted anonymous questions. We know experts cannot change the
world in a quarter of an hour but they can provide accurate information, a fresh perspective,
and lots of understanding. We’re looking for experts who can do just that

Have a basis for their knowledge in both experience and education

Have a range of parenting expertise from infants to college-age

Can handle sensitive situations with aplomb

Are flexible and ready for anything

Are client-centered, not self-promoting

Presenters may not present an infomercial about themselves. The presentation itself must be of
obvious value and any reference to an offer or services must be incidental and not the focus of
the talk. Presenters are invited to reserve a vendor table if they wish to promote their products
and services.
