Morrisville Named Best Place to Live in North Carolina
Morrisville ranks #1 in North Carolina & #5 in America
Morrisville, NC— Morrisville has been named Best Place to Live in North Carolina by Niche. The
list of best places to live are based on crime, public schools, cost of living, job opportunities, and
local amenities. Rankings are based on data from the U.S. Census, FBI, BLS, CDC, and other
sources. Morrisville also ranked 5th out of 100 places to live in America.
“We are honored to be recognized as the best place to live in North Carolina, as well as 5th in the
nation,” said Martha Paige, Morrisville Town Manager. “This ranking shows what our residents
already know – Morrisville has so much to offer and really is a great place to live.”
The 2017 Best Places to Live in America ranking provides a comprehensive assessment of the
overall livability of an area. This grade takes into account several key factors of a location,
including the quality of local schools, crime rates, housing trends, employment statistics, and
access to amenities in an attempt to measure the overall quality of an area.
Niche is a website that helps people discover schools and neighborhoods. They thoroughly
analyze dozens of public data sets and millions of reviews to produce comprehensive rankings,
report cards, and profiles for every K-12 school, college, and neighborhood in the U.S.
