Some useful tips for our lovely children :
Inculcate regular reading habit !! Read books in HINDI and ENGLISH daily.
Develop the habit of going for Nature walk and playing outdoor games as cycling, playing badminton, cricket, khokho ,hide n’ seek….anything that will make you run and be active. As healthy body means a healthy mind.
But only in morning and evening when it is cool, avoid going out in SUN !!
Watch educational programmes on television, such as NATIONAL GEOGRAPHY, DISCOVERY channel etc. to
enhance your knowledge instead of watching daily TV soaps & other cartoons.
Visit your grandparents or any relative and learn something informative. Don’t forget to share it with your friends and
teachers when you return to school.
Read newspaper daily to enhance your general awareness, language and comprehension skills.

1. James had a poultry farm. Everyday he
sold 4025 eggs for 1 rupee per egg. Once
he got a big order of 8960 eggs, so he went
to deliver it. While coming back through
the forests, he found a goose sitting on a
golden egg. He was surprised to see an egg made of gold and ran after the goose to catch
it. He picked up the golden egg and held the goose in his hand. He came back home and
showed this to his wife. His wife was happy and they went to the market to sell that egg.
The egg was worth 9900 rupees. Next day, the goose again laid a golden egg. But his
wife was very greedy and suggested that they cut off the goose and take out all the golden
eggs from its stomach. The very next day, James killed the goose but could not find any
egg in its stomach. He cried on his folly. This teaches that we should not be greedy.

One of the best ways to enjoy wildlife in the comfort of your home is to watch birds at a
feeder. You'll be amazed at the variety of birds that will come to your feeder throughout the

2. Make a Table Mat…
Colourful pictures of healthy food can help or motivate you to eat well and grow strong.
Follow the steps to prepare your our personalized creative table mat.
1. Cut out some pictures of food from magazines or newspaper and paste them onto a A3 size
sheet.
2. Then cover the sheet with clear plastic sheet or get it laminated so that it can be used as a
table mat.
3. Build a Terrarium…
A terrarium is a glass container in which selected living plants are
grown and observed carefully.
Take a glass or plastic bottle with a broad mouth.
Put rock pieces at the bottom of the bottle.
Then put in a buffer zone (pine needles, leaves, bark, dirt or sticks).
After that put some small herbs in it.
Water it regularly.
