new shower with balancing pressure

NEW SHOWER WITH BALANCING PRESSURE Have you ever been in the shower and suddenly the water gets super hot or super cold? The sudden temperature change is due to a drop in either the hot or cold side water pressure. This can happen when someone else in the house turns on the water at a fixture, when the washing machine fills, or even when the dishwasher begins part of the cycle that uses more water. This is where a pressure balance shower valve comes in. A pressure balance shower mixer can provide even temperature to a tub or shower valve despite fluctuations that may occur from other water usage in the home. Having a pressure balance valve is even more important if you live in an apartment or hotel where water is shared by several units. Shower mixers that are not pressure balanced can be dangerous, especially for homes with little ones, due to the threat of scalding water. In most building codes pressure balance mixers are now required but if your home or apartment is older it may be time to install a new shower valve to make the shower safer and more comfortable. The way that a pressure balance shower works is by maintaining the balancing of the hot and cold waters. It can do it because this model of shower has a diaphragm inside the valve body that reacts at the increasing of the pressure of one incoming water supply (either hot or cold) and adjusts the outflow of the opposite water supply so that the water doesn’t get any colder or hotter. Sudden changes in supply water pressure may reduce the outflow of water from the showerhead but it will not change the temperature. Our pressure balance shower mixers provide manual regulation of the flow and of the temperature with an automatic compensation of the pressure variations, assuring unchanged temperature output as it’s been explained. We have the pressure balance mixers for shower or tub with one or two exits (with diverter) and they have standard geometry and sizes, so it’s very easy to use them instead of another existing mixer to replace. It’s available for all our single lever series, its cost is also more convenient than a thermostatic mixer and it can go back as a new one after many years of using just changing the cartridge. Our pressure balance shower is equipped with cartridge complies with ASSE 1016 standard.
