is passionate about valuing diversity and inclusion in the workplace. We

Founded in 2003, the Gaythenistas’ focus is to connect lesbian, gay,
bisexual, transgender employees and our allies; advocate for an LGBTpositive athena; advance athena as the industry leader at the
intersection of the LGBT community and healthcare.

Started in 2016, the Trans Inclusion Committee is a collaborative arm of
the Gaythenistas that is specifically focused on support and inclusion of
trans-identifying people. We drive progress not only internally on campus,
but on making athenahealth the first trans-inclusive EHR on the market!

The Women’s Leadership Forum is a grassroots movement to advance
athenahealth’s leadership in closing the gender gap. By providing a
forum for honest conversations about the experiences as leaders and
colleagues, WLF develops actionable ideas, launches programs, hosts
guest speakers and partners with organizations like the Healthcare
Businesswomen’s Association to host events.
