Professor Ania Loomba is the Catherine
Bryson Professor of English at the
University of Pennsylvania. Her research
and teaching covers a broad array of
topics, from early modern literature,
histories of race and colonialism to postcolonial studies, feminist theory, and
contemporary Indian literature and
culture.
Her many publications include
Gender, Race, Renaissance Drama;
Shakespeare , Race and Colonialism ,
Race in Early Modern England: A
Documentary Companion; A Norton
critical edition of Anthony and
Cleopatra; and Colonialism/
Postcolonialism.
