The Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (MCOT),
operates as part of Hill Country
Community MHMR and Scheib Mental
Health Clinic supplying a continuum of
comprehensive crisis services.
As part of our community’s continuum of
crisis care, MCOT specializes in outreach.
MCOT goes into the community setting to
assist individuals experiencing psychiatric
crisis. The primary goals of the team are
to respond rapidly, ensure safety and
provide expert psychiatric care.
The Mobile Crisis Outreach Team
provides:

Prompt screening & psychiatric
assessments and medication treatment
to resolve symptoms due to crisis

Stabilization in least restrictive environment
•
Crisis Resolution
•
Linkage to appropriate community
resource referrals
