The Wiarton & District Chamber of Commerce & Wiarton BDO are proud to carry on a community tradition; the 2016 Wiarton
Santa Claus Parade is scheduled for Saturday, December 3rd at 7:00PM. This year’s theme will be Christmas Trees; parade
participants are encouraged to incorporate this theme into their entry’s design. We also ask as this is an evening parade, that
as many lights as possible be used in your display. Music is also welcome.

Registration Closes Monday November 28 th , 2016
Parade Line-Up Begins at 6:00pm Saturday December 3 rd , 2016 at the corner of Brown & Frank Street, the parade begins
promptly at 7:00pm. Please be on time, we don’t want to keep Santa waiting. Please remember to dress appropriately for
the weather.
** You will be given your line up number on arrival at the parade. **
** NOTE: All live animal entries require liability insurance. **

The Wiarton & District Chamber of Commerce, its officers, employees, directors, volunteers, agents or representatives (hereinafter called the “Releases”)
ASSUMPTION OF RISK
I acknowledge that I wish to participate in the 2016 Wiarton Santa Claus Parade on December 3rd, 2016. I am aware that doing so may
expose me to risks associated to or contributed by natural and manmade terrain, climatic conditions, my own physical condition, actions of
other third parties, vehicular traffic, tools and equipment and other hazards associated with a Town Parade. I am aware that such risks may
result in personal injury, illness, loss of life or property damage, and I freely assume these risks.
INDEMNITY AGREEMENT
In consideration of my participation in the 2016 Wiarton Santa Claus Parade, I agree to hold harmless and indemnify the Releases from any
and all liability, loss, claims, demands, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, due to any personal injury or property damage to
any third party arising from my actions. I recognize that by signing this I am waiving certain legal rights, including the right to sue.
