FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE May 22, 2016 MUNCIE, INDIANA — The Delaware County Historical Society will host their annual meeting dinner on Tuesday, June 28th at Ball State University’s Alumni Center. The evening will begin with appetizers and a cash bar at 6:00pm, followed by dinner at 6:30 and a short business meeting at 7:00pm. At 7:15, researcher Andy Olson will present on the 1818 Treaty of St. Mary’s. Olson has researched the treaties signed at Fort St. Mary’s extensively. A descendent of David Kilgore, Olson’s research covers many topics regarding the early settlement period of east­central Indiana. Tickets for the dinner and program are $22 for members and $25 for non­members. The public is encouraged to attend.
